'Campaigning for policy change or to change attitudes and behaviour is a very visible activity for lots of charities. The charities, politicians, and regulators agree that this work is important, but many donors and funders hesitate to provide funding, which can limit a charity's ability to make a difference. Campaigning can deliver results, and it doesn’t have to take decades to do it. The best campaigns know what they’re trying to achieve, have a clear plan for getting there, and work hard to keep track of how they’re doing along the way.'
