The Big Lottery Fund awards NPC grant to fund research into prisoners and offenders

The Big Lottery Fund has awarded NPC a one-year grant of £43,000 to fund a research report into prisoners and offenders. The published report will be a guide for donors and grant-makers interested in funding the sector and will examine the scale of need and assess the effectiveness of a range of voluntary sector interventions and the efficiency of individual charities, in order to analyse outcomes and make clear recommendations to donors. NPC hopes to encourage substantial sums of money into organisations which tackle one of the little publicised but most important social needs in the UK today. Click here to view research proposal
