Results measurement
Our experience of analysing charities has shown that many struggle to measure their results and communicate their impact. So we work with charities to answer questions such as:
- What impact does your work have on your service users?
- How can you demonstrate this impact?
- What if time and resources are tight?
- How can you communicate your impact to funders?
We help charities to identify the results they want to achieve and identify the evidence they
could collect to demonstrate their impact. We also help charities to collect this evidence and measure their results, for example, by building measurement tools, carrying out analysis and working out economic value. In the past we have done this through methods such as cost-benefit analysis and SROI. We then suggest effective ways to use and communicate
these results.
For charities that want to review and improve how they assess their own work, we offer a 'measurement health check'. We assess existing measurement systems and data, and make suggestions for additions, improvements or new ways to use data.
All this helps charities to demonstrate their effectiveness. By doing so, they can improve their services and make the case for funding.
