Adrian Fradd
Senior Consultant (International)
afradd@philanthropycapital.org
Adrian’s main area of expertise is international philanthropy. He advises both international and domestic clients on their charitable giving, and also leads NPC’s international research.
Adrian manages the giving of the Stone Family Foundation on an ongoing basis, and has worked on a number of major consulting projects for domestic and international funders. He spent much of 2009 working in New Delhi analysing the nature of the Indian voluntary sector, and looking at individual NGOs across the country, with a focus on water and sanitation. He subsequently co-authored ‘Giving in India’, a guide for charities and funders working in the country.
Adrian has also co-authored several of NPC’s research reports, including Breaking the cycle, focussed on prisoners and ex-offenders, Lost property, investigating charities working with homeless people, A life less ordinary, looking at children and adults with autism, and Striking a chord, which examined how music is used to tackle social problems and change lives.
Before joining NPC, Adrian completed internships with the UN Secretariat in New York and the UN Development Programme in Uganda, after gaining a Masters in International Relations from the London School of Economics.

'I wanted to start making strategic grants very quickly without having to get up the learning curve fast myself or to hire my own staff to do it. Using NPC enabled the foundation to double the size of its giving in the UK.'
